Hi, I’m Alina. I am a creator driven by curiosity and expression. I find art in unexpected places, from blending Arabic strokes with Chinese calligraphy to composing music that bridges cultures. What began as a childhood wish has grown into founding clubs, mentoring peers, and building communities through creativity. I’m both an artist and an athlete. Tennis became my sanctuary, and teaching became my joy—whether coaching neighborhood kids or learning alongside them. Beyond the court, I explore music through piano, guitar, drums, and even the violin (which my grandmother lovingly calls “mourning chickens”). I’m also passionate about storytelling and research. As a published researcher studying diaspora literature and foodways, I combine academic inquiry with personal narrative. Through writing, media production, and hands-on fieldwork, I document immigrant stories and explore how culture shapes identity. From designing handmade gowns to baking cookies—and building this website myself—I create to connect, inspire, and help others find their voice.
